John Manuel Pacheco has been composing for over twenty years completing his first piece when he was fourteen. He is now an active composer in Orange county, California where he has written for orchestra, choir, piano, string quartet, and other chamber ensembles. He is also a singer/songwriter who performed with his former band at various venues of the local music scene. Active as a teacher of eighteen years, John has had students in piano, voice, flute, oboe, clarinet, sax, guitar, composition, songwriting, theory and recording/producing. He also works as a freelance accompanist for both singers and instrumentalists and continues to perform as both a solo and collaborative pianist. John received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his master's degree in composition from California State University, Fullerton. Over 450 pages of his music are published online which has resulted in numerous performances in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
